5 Tips for Article Marketing

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

Looking to increase traffic to your website or blog? If so then pay attention because Article marketing works. That’s how I drive traffic to my sites and why am I so sure that it works. To put it simply I’ve proven it by getting 50,000 unique visitors to my new website in less than 8 weeks just by following the five steps outlined below.

I want to keep this article short and to the point so I’m just going to give you a few quick tips to improve your article success.

1. Every day, create one original article. Simply by being consistent in creating content, you’ll eventually dominate 90% of your competition in a very short time period. If you create too much you won’t be able to promote it properly, however I want to make sure that you create at least one new article for the next 100 days.

2. Use spinning technology to create several variations of your articles and posts and submit them to as many article directories and blogs as you can find willing to post them. I take an extra 30 minutes per article and re-write all of the sentences 3 times. The next step I take is that I use the same software that creates the variations to submit my content to the top 200 article directories online. Because I’m creating unique articles by spinning the content, my articles are unique variations wherever they’re submitted, and I don’t have any problems with duplicate content.

3. You should link back to your original piece of content in your resource box. That way if Google thinks that it’s just a bunch of duplicate content, (which it won’t, if you re-write the sentences), at least it will all point back to your original article, and your website will come up first in the search engines. I’ve demonstrated that this works with more than 50 competitive, unique keyword phrases.

4. Promote your original piece of content using a short, 30 second video. All you have to do next is use one of the free video promotion services online to broadcast your video to the top sharing sites. Then you want to direct your video to link back to your original article. I use Traffic Geyser for my video promotion. You can use a free online service called TubeMogul as well, it just doesn’t work quite as fast or as effectively as Traffic Geyser.

5. Bookmark your original piece of content, and your YouTube video using OnlyWire.com, which is a free social bookmarking service that will submit your original article to 25 or so social bookmarking sites, which gives everything you do additional links and exposure.

That’s all for now! If you do those five steps once per day, every day, you’ll beat out your competition in a couple of months.

Cashcrate.com

I came across Cashcrate.com a few months ago and signed up but as usual I never got back to using it. At the time I was involved in learning all the ins and outs of IFW’s – Incentivized Freebie Websites. I’m not an expert by any means but I followed along with the Project Payday system and have been able to reliably make money on a daily basis both filling in trial offers for others (average $25 an offer) as well as paying others to fill in offers for me. (I pay out an average of $25 per offer but usually double my money ie. my payouts are $150 but the Advertising Incentive pays me $300 for 6 referrals)

That’s the basics of making money with IFW’s and it does work but you won’t get rich. If I put in a good 6 hour day I have made over $200 for my efforts. On lazy days I don’t make much more the $50. It really comes down to your ability to stay focused and organized. If you don’t mind tedious work and can keep what you are doing organized then give Project Payday a try, The best source of info about the system is here, What is Project Payday?

Which brings me back to Cashcrate – it’s even easier to use than the Project Payday system and involves the same kind of work. In other words I should have looked closer at it when I first signed up. It goes hand in hand with IFW’s if you are already making money from trial offers but it’s perfect for those just new to this. Sign up is free of course and then you make money by completing offers, surveys etc. You won’t make as much money as Project Payday but you don’t have to do half the work either. It is pretty straight forward and you get paid monthly. I have only been using it for just over a month now and have made just under $500 – not bad for maybe 4-5 hours of work.

It’s as simple a way to earn money online that I have found. It’s free to join and if this doesn’t interest you – no loss – but you will make a few bucks just by joining. After that you make money depending on how much work you want to put in.

Web Marketing and Promotion

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

What should a person or company look for when attempting to decide which web promotion agency to appoint? Where can you find an affordable web promotion service? These are the questions that I will be answering within this article.

It can be like a minefield when attempting to pick “the right” web promotion agency. They seemingly all call themselves “SEO experts” or “web promotion experts” however this is one industry that lacks any relevant qualifications to justify such a title; this is something that needs to somehow change.

I have interests in a number of websites including ones about stuttering and about how to business cost cutting; I know from my own personal experiences about how hard it is to find a web promotion service that works.

In my opinion there is only one way that we can judge the merits of a web promotion company and that is by their past results. You may well find that many of them will shy away from letting you have access to these results – I wonder why? The web promotion specialists, and I am talking about the one’s that justify being called a specialist, will be more than happy to let you know which websites that they have been working on as well as the key phrases they have been promoting.

At this stage I would not just take their word for it and would therefore make a couple of phone calls asking something like:

“Hi, I am sorry to bother you. I believe that website1 have been promoting your company website and I am thinking of hiring them as well. I was just wondering how you found them thus far. Are you pleased with the overall service that they have provided?”

This may be slightly below the belt in the eyes of some of the readers of this article. It is certainly accepted in other areas of business therefore why not in SEO and web promotion tips? I sometimes think that some of the people in this industry think they are somehow different to any other business, and that they are actually better. Well this just so is not the case; in fact the SEO world is the laughing stock of other businesses; what with no recognized examination and so many scam artists, it really is time that this industry cleaned up its act!
